On December 30th 2017, the metro of Ninggao intercity phase II line S9 was open to traffic. The communication system which was built by Panda Information runs stable and provides the reliable communication support for this metro line.

Panda Information started the communication system project of Ninggao intercity phase II line S9 from November 2016. The project includes the system integration design, equipment purchase, supply, installation and debugging of 11 subsystems of special communication and 6 subsystems of public security communications. Panda Information made full preparations to overcome the difficulties and finished this communication project successfully.

The Ninggao communication system project has adopted a number of new technologies.

First, the designed speed of the Ninggao phase II is up to 120km, which is the highest speed of all metro lines in Nanjing. The requirement of service quality of the special wireless system and the wireless communication system is higher.

Second, it’s the first time to use the LTE technology to realize the comprehensive carrying service of wireless communication in Nanjing Metro. Compared with the traditional WLAN technology, LTE technology can provide a more stable and reliable wireless transmission network at the highest speed of 120km/h. At the same time, the traditional independent networks of specialized A/B network, PIS specialty and vehicle CCTV are optimized to LTE A/B network, which ensures the safety of the train and saving the frequency point resources and investment.

Third, the power supply of communication system and power system changed to integrated power supply, which can provide stable power for the communications, integrated monitoring and PIS. This requires the accurately calculation of the power requirement when design the the power system.
