At 11:00am.on September 30, Nanjing Metro Line S8 South Extension was officially opened for operation. This is another metro AFC (Automatic Fare Collection System) project successfully undertaken by Panda Information in Nanjing Metro, marking that "Panda" has the technical ability to solve the problem of connecting existing systems and equipment to the new standard construction ZLC framework.

With the construction and development of Nanjing Metro for more than 10 years, the existing line network standards can no longer meet the needs of current metro operators, and the upgrading of the system is imminent. The line network standards have been upgraded and iterated for more than 20 versions. This project will upgrade Dachang East Line Center in an all-round way. On the one hand, a query machine system platform has been established in Nanjing Metro to provide powerful data processing capabilities for Nanjing Metro query machines and other equipment. On the other hand, the new line network standard of Nanjing Metro is adopted for construction. The new standard is upgraded on the original line network standard, which greatly improves the real-time data and is compatible with the existing system. Finally, Dachang East ZLC is compatible with the new and old standards of Line S8 and S8 South Extension Line, which can solve the reuse problem of existing equipment and systems, and plays an important role in cost reduction and efficiency increase of Nanjing Metro.

Since this year, the Nanjing Metro project undertaken by Panda Information has progressed in multiple lines. The AFC projects of three lines are at the stage of testing, debugging and acceptance at the same time. The northern section of Line 7 and the northern extension of Line 1 are expected to be opened successively. Panda Information will continue to do a good job in various aspects to support the construction of Nanjing Metro Project.
